The Levees
The following are pictures of the levee breaks and subsequent efforts to repair the breaches.
The levees breach on the afternoon of August 29, flooding nearly 80% of New Orleans under water as much as 20 feet deep.

The 3 pictures above were all taken on September 12 and show the ongoing efforts to repair the levees and begin the process of pumping the floodwaters out of New Orleans.
