A block from my house is a small mobile home community. Located on Winter Park Drive in Casselberry, this neighborhood was hit extremely hard by all three storms. Charley was by far the worst, but both Frances and Jeanne added insult to injury. The resiliency of the people there has been amazing. Many of their homes have only partial roofs, with tarps covering gaping holes. Large trees remain uprooted and, in some cases, still lying on homes. Yet, these people remain living in these severely damaged structures. They continue to fly the American flag on their homes and, with October upon us, some have even put up Halloween decorations. This page is dedicated to those in my neighborhood and all around the state who have suffered similarly during this Hurricane Season.
