Late in 1997, the 7th Blondie compilation album was released, titled "PICTURE THIS~ LIVE".  Blondie had re-united, and wanted to go into the studio to record a new album.  However, Chrysalis records was uncertain whether a new Blondie album after 15 years would be a marketable venture.  Eventually, Chrysalis declined and instead released this collection of older material.  This is a "live" album, with tracks from many different performances synched together into one continuous live "show".  The 17 tracks include the following: "Dreaming", "In The Sun", "Hanging On The Telephone", "Look Good In Blue", "Slow Motion", "Sunday Girl", "X-Offender", "Picture This", "Denis", "Fade Away And Radiate", "A Shark In Jet's Clothing", "I Know But I Don't Know", "One Way Or Another", "Heart Of Glass", "11:59", "Bang A Gong" & "Funtime".
